Scroll down for the answer!

The answer is C: Black
Zebra skin is black.
Under the black and white striped coat, the skin of a zebra is black.
The zebra is considered to be black with white stripes. Melanin gives color to the fur and a lot of melanin makes fur black.
Each follicle of zebra hair is filled with melanocytes, the cells that produce melanin, but the production of melanin is turned off in white follicles.
So the default color is black.
