Annette G. Teepe writes short fiction and nonfiction for anthologies and nonfiction articles about science/nature for children’s magazines. She is also working on books and worksheets to help elementary and middle school teachers get students excited about science.

Annette began her career as a scientist. She has a PhD in Biochemistry and worked in academia and industry. She completed her postdoc research at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. For nine years, she taught high school and college biology classes and loved watching the light bulb shine when a new concept was learned. Breaking information down into understandable bits is a joy for her!
