The answer is B: It gets nitrogen

Venus flytraps need nitrogen and phosphorus

Venus flytraps are native only to bogs in North and South Carolina. The soil in the bogs is low in nitrogen, which the plants need to make protein.

The plants get energy from photosynthesis.

It takes about ten days for the plant to digest the insect. The trap then releases the remains and reopens, ready to catch another insect.
