The answer is C: Ball-and-socket

The shoulder joint is a ball-and-socket

Both the hip and shoulders have ball-and-socket joints. This allows arms and legs to rotate and move in several planes.

The elbow and knee are hinge joints that allow movement in one plane.

The wrist and neck have pivot joints. The wrist allows the palm to be turned up and down. The head can move back and forth.
