C. Water
Scroll down for the answer!

The answer is C: Water
Osmosis is the movement of water across a membrane
Osmosis is the movement of water across a selectively permeable membrane (some things can cross and others can’t). Cells need to maintain water balance so they don’t shrink or swell and burst.
Unfortunately, we can’t place a book under our pillow and learn by osmosis while we sleep!
When you smell odors (pleasant or unpleasant) they have passed through the air.
