The answer is A. O negative
O negative = donate to anyone
Blood cells can have A, B, or Rh on their surface. If there is not A or B, the blood type is O. If Rh factor is present, the blood type is positive. If Rh factor is not present, the blood type is negative. Example: B positive blood cells have B and Rh.
Donated blood should not contain anything the recipient doesn’t already have: People with O negative blood are universal donors because their blood doesn’t have A, B or Rh to cause an adverse reaction.
AB positive has A, B, and Rh, so blood can be received from anyone (universal recipient).
